Chemist2Door: Terms, Delivery & Returns Policy
These terms and conditions apply to your use of the Chemist2Door website
(https://chemist2door.co.uk/) and every order placed with us. By using our services, you
agree to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version
will always be available on our site.
- Introduction & Our Contract with You
● Legal Jurisdiction: Your use of this site and any orders made are governed by
English law. Any legal action shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
English courts.
● Ownership: You become the owner of, and responsible for, products once they
are dispatched. You are responsible for complying with any local restrictions
regarding the receipt and use of the products.
● Eligibility: You must be over 18 to register and use this site. All details provided
must be truthful. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login
details.
● Liability: Chemist2Door and its directors shall not be liable for any losses arising
from the use of this site, except for damages for death or personal injury caused
by our negligence.
● Information Purpose: Content on this site is for information only and is not a
substitute for professional medical advice. Always read product packaging and
labels prior to use. - Orders and Payment
● Acceptance: We reserve the right to accept or refuse any order. A contract is only
formed once we have issued an invoice and dispatched the goods.
● Payment Methods: We accept payments via Stripe and PayPal.
● Processing: Payments are generally processed at the time of dispatch, except for
PayPal, which is deducted when the order is placed.
● Non-Payment: If payment is rejected, you must provide an alternative method
immediately. We reserve the right to add reasonable collection charges or legal
fees to accounts with outstanding balances.
● Stock: All offers are subject to availability. Items with a “best before” date will be
delivered with a minimum of three months’ shelf life remaining. - Delivery Information
Chemist2Door is committed to supplying medicines safely, discreetly, and in full
compliance with GPhC standards and UK legislation.
● NHS Prescriptions: Delivery is provided free of charge for all NHS prescriptions,
ideally within 48 hours.
● For health products: Free of charge delivery is available on all health product
orders of £25 or more, with an estimated arrival within 48 hours. For orders under
£25, a standard shipping fee of £4.50 will apply
Service Levels:
○ Standard Delivery: Usually delivered within 2–3 working days.
○ Next-Day: Available on selected orders placed before our cut-off time (2:30
pm), charges applied.
● Confidentiality: All orders are sent in plain, unbranded, tamper-evident
packaging.
● Signature: To ensure safety, some medicines require an adult signature upon
delivery.
● Address Accuracy: We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by
incorrect address details. If medicines are returned to us due to failed delivery,
they may be destroyed according to legal requirements, and re-delivery costs may
apply.
● Territory: We currently only provide services within England. - Postage and Packaging Fees
● Calculated Costs: Postage and packing fees will be applied to your order based
on the total value of your basket and the specific service you select.
● Transparency: All applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed on your
screen before you confirm your order and proceed to payment.
● Payment Requirement: All orders are dispatched only after Chemist2Door has
successfully received and verified your payment.
Delivery Options
Royal Mail Tracked 24 – £6.50
Orders approved before 2:30pm Monday to Friday arrive the next day.
Royal Mail Tracked 48 – £4.50
Delivered within 2–3 working days after order - Safety and Security Restrictions
● Adult Signature: A responsible adult (aged 18 or over) must be available to sign
for the delivery of prescription medications. Under no circumstances can these
medicines be left in a “safe place,” with a neighbor, or at an unattended delivery
point.
● Restricted Items: Certain products, such as aerosols or flammable items, are
subject to Royal Mail’s safety regulations. This may limit the delivery options
available for specific orders.
● Address Restrictions: We are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses. - Timescales and Liability
● Indicative Dates: All delivery timescales provided are estimates and exclude
bank and public holidays. While we strive to meet these dates, timescales are
indicative only.
● Delays: Chemist2Door is not liable for delays caused by events beyond our
reasonable control. However, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts
Regulations 2013, if we cannot deliver your goods within 30 days of the contract
formation, we will issue a full refund.
● Risk and Ownership: Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
● Reporting Issues: Please inspect your delivery immediately. You must notify us
of any damage or shortages within 48 hours so we can provide assistance.
● Consignments: Your order may be delivered in one or more separate packages
depending on the size and nature of the items.
Delivery Hours
● All orders completed prior to 2:30 PM will be dispatched the same
business day.
● Orders containing pharmacy-only items will be dispatched once our
pharmacist has reviewed and approved your order. - Returns & Refunds Policy
Due to strict safety and hygiene regulations regarding medicinal products, returns are
limited.
Prescription-Only (POM) & Pharmacy-Only (P) Medicines
● No Returns: Once dispatched, these medicines cannot be returned for any
reason, even if unopened. This is a legal requirement to protect patient safety.
● Clinical Review: All “P” medicines are subject to a pharmacist review, you will be
asked to answer a few questions. We may contact you for further information or
cancel a request if deemed medically necessary.
● Refunds: These will only be issued if the incorrect medicine was supplied or if the
item arrived damaged/faulty. Issues must be reported within 48 hours.
General Sale & Non-Medicinal Products
(Skincare, supplements, personal care, etc.)
● 14-Day Window: You may return these items within 14 days of receipt if they are
unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
● Exclusions: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened cosmetics
or items with a broken protective seal.
● Return Costs: Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item
